Campus Compass
A UX Design Case Study for Discovering Campus Clubs & Events
Campus Compass is a mobile app concept designed to help university students discover clubs, join communities, RSVP to events, and navigate to on-campus activities. This process blog documents our full UX design journey from early sketches to usability testing.
Project Context
This project was completed as part of CPSC 5220: User Experience Design at Seattle University in Fall 2025. Over the course of the quarter, our team followed a complete UX process: defining the problem, creating personas, sketching, building information architecture, prototyping at multiple fidelities, and running usability tests.
Why This Project?
Students often hear about clubs and events through scattered channels like email, posters, or word of mouth. Campus Compass aims to centralize this experience so students can quickly find clubs, see upcoming events, join groups, and get directions without juggling multiple platforms.
